The Catering Northern Beaches core team of Vicky Harris and James Caulfield bring years of culinary and service expertise to any event.
HEAD CHEF – Vicky Harris
Chef Vicky Harris began her training as an apprentice at Manly Pacific Hotel. She continued her training at Bayswater Brasserie, and Dean’s Verandah, before gaining a place in the kitchen at legendary Rockpool where she concluded her training under the guidance of Neil Perry.
After travelling and gaining valuable experience working in London as a chef at Harvey Nichol’s Restaurant, she returned to Sydney and was invited to return to the prestigious Rockpool, this time as 3rd chef.
In 1994 she became Head Chef at Manly’s then most popular restaurant – Brazil.
In 1996 she teamed up with pastry chef, Nadine Mc Cristal, to open TwoCan in Belgrave St, Manly for five years a very popular Manly eatery which received many rave reviews and excellent ratings in the “Sydney Good Food Guide”.
In 2001, Vicky redefined her priorities as proprietor/head chef /mother to create a flexible business work environment that suited her needs and Catering Northern Beaches was born.
Since that time she has catered for every type of occasion from large corporate functions, shipboard buffets and weddings, to intimate home dinner parties whilst also developing a unique drop-off catering offer for her customers.
BAR & FLOOR STAFF MANAGER – James Caulfield
James has experience that ranges from penthouse silver service to casual backyard BBQ and everything in between.
Choosing to take his passion for quality customer service experience and channel it in to providing the best possible event for your enjoyment, James joined the Catering Northern Beaches team in 2015.
James has a personable approach to all the events he is a part of and always ensuring all aspects meet his standards for the benefit of the host and their guests.
Priding himself on presentation and efficiency, James makes it easy for you to host any event anywhere. With his teams’ support he is able to co-ordinate smooth service and make sure all those little details that make a big difference are not overlooked.
